A year ago he put a ring on it

One year ago today....
I was visiting my boyfriend in D.C. and he took me to the Jefferson Memorial at midnight.

We were in love :)
We looked out over the Potomac river.
SURPRISE! He kneeled down and asked me to marry him (plus some other very sweet, mushy words)
I said YES!
We were SUPER happy!
He picked out the ring all by himself! Of course I was in love with it!
And we called our families to share the joy.
(he's laughing because my Dad just said "you don't know what you're in for"- very funny dad)
Now we're an old married couple. Who are more in love than ever!!
Thanks for asking me to marry you hun! xoxo

Revolt//week 4

First off, Happy Memorial Day!!

I can't believe Scott and I have been doing Revolt Fitness for a whole month!
It has been such a fantastic experience and we really think this will be our new lifestyle rather than just a temporary diet. We've seen results which is super encouraging, but we also just feel healthier and happier!
Hubby said I have permission to but up his before and after pics at the end, so get excited cause he's awesome :)
^This is my Before pic and after 1 month pic^

One of the many things Revolt has taught me is the uselessness of the scale! The last 3 weeks I haven't lost any weight- none! But I'm getting smaller! That's because I'm gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time. So the scale really does lie! When it comes to monitoring your progress, pictures or the way your clothes fit or the way you feel is the only real measurement to go off of.

The meal plan this week was one of our favorites! Here are just a few pics.
 Dinner
Dessert

So if you want to try out Revolt Fitness, I'd love to have you on my blog's team! The next 6 week uprising begins of June 3rd. Email me if you have any questions :)

Wardrobe Wednesday// Black vs. Brown

 Dress//Target (last season)   Watch// Feral    Wedges//TJMaxx

Brown and black have never mixed for me. It's always been one or the other. I'd watch other people mix the two in an outfit and be jealous. Because no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't. I've finally learned how you can mix brown and black- and make it look good to :) I just keep it simple.

What we did exactly 6 months from the best day ever

Last Thursday was our 6 month anniversary and we decided to celebrate. Why not?? Marriage rocks!
So we took our cheat day for our Revolt diets and enjoyed it :)
6 months ago we went to Kneaders for breakfast after we were finally married and we haven't been back since. So Kneaders unbelievable French Toast it was. It was good and all, but sitting there with my best friend, laughing and reminiscing was what made it great.
I went to class and he went to work.
Then we went on a fun off-roading adventure in our little Jeep.
It was BEAUTIFUL. Utah is so green right now!
Just trespassing on someones property to pet some horses...my husband brings out the rebel in me
He's a stud. And he loves his Jeep.
My attempts to take just one photo. Boo you wind.
At the top!
Our yummy/healthyish dessert :)
We're so fancy. Fresca in dollar store champagne glasses while watching Nacho Libre.
We have too much fun!

Revolt// week 3 + free kickstart

Another week of Revolt down!
Scott and I are LOVING IT!

Here are my before and afters so far...3 weeks down 9 more to go.

Week three was a really good one for me! I stuck to it and didn't sway even a bit (so proud!). I also increased my free weights from 5 lbs to 8 lbs and I am feeling it!! On top of that we increased the intensity of  our workouts by doing the cardio circuit in ladder format (all these fancy workout terms I never knew). Let me tell you, ladders kill. Scott and I are a sweaty ball on the floor when they are over. But, that is what makes Revolt so awesome! I know that it is working. I am sore-like really sore-and I can feel myself getting stronger.

The food this week was fantastic! Power pancakes for breakfast, coconut curry chicken for lunch, mango cleansing smoothing for an afternoon snack, garlic chicken salad for dinner and coconut macaroons for dessert. Yum Yum Yum.

Last week I introduced you to Nichole Huntsman, the mastermind behind revolt. She cares so much about helping people get into shape and educating the world about how to do it that she has made a free 1 week kickstart package for you guys!!! My readers will have access to a 50 page guide, 1 week of videos, 1 week of workout (3 levels) and 1 week of meal plan (6 cal levels)!! So try out Revolt and see how awesome it is!!

Sunday Style// Notice something different??

 Maxi//Bohme   Button-up and Wedges//TJMaxx   Bag//Coach
Watch// Kate Spade    Bracelet & Necklace// Etsy

Yes, I am wearing a maxi skirt which is a rarity for me, but that's not it.
It's my hair. I parted it down the middle! I love this look on other people and have been too scared to try it out myself. But I did it :) I like it, but not sure if I like it more than my usual side part.
 What's your guys opinion???

It was a little chilly, overcast and windy today so a comfy maxi sounded perfect.
To me it really feels like I'm wearing a blanket :)

P.S. I wish you could see my heels. They're awesome. Guess I'll just have to wear them again for you guys.

Datevitation + Giveaway!!

Scott and I had so much fun yesterday celebrating our little 6 month anniversary (Can't wait to show you some fun pics of the day later). I was so excited to give my hubby a personalized and cute coupon date book. He loved it :)

So, I want to introduce you guys to an AWESOME company! It's called Datevitation.
Datevitation.com is an online platform to create a custom love coupon book. I used to make these all the time growing up for my parents with coupons like "do the dishes" or "a big hug". It's the perfect gift because it is giving of your time which we all know is the most valuable thing out there! And now Datevitation has made it easier by doing the whole process for you while still letting it be customized to your liking!

Datevitation is SO much fun because you get to pick out the coupons and customize the text. There are so many options!! They have over 350 possible coupons or dates to pick from and 100 different book cover options. I had a blast making mine for Scott. Here are some pics of the book and some of the coupons I picked to give him.

Datevitation is so awesome in fact, that they are giving away 1 coupon book completely free!

In addition, books normally start at just $20  But as a special treat for my followers, you can use the code 'THEHUNTERS' for $10 off your purchase in May or June. That's half off!! That means you can get your loved one a one-of-a-kind gift for Father’s day, anniversary or just cause gift starting at just $10!  The order cut-off date for guaranteed delivery by Father’s Day is June 6 so make sure to get your order in before then!
